How-To: Replicate Customer Role Rule – required for Human First Factor scorecard!

In Gainsight, we populate a Customer Scorecard called Human First Factors, this depends on the role of the user in a certain field called Role in the Person object. What we’ll need to do is create a rule to copy over the Role in Gainsight from the Company person to the CCSM_Role__gc object. This wasn’t installed in the Gainsight Sightline Vault package.

Human First Factors Scorecard depends on the Role

  1. Find the Role in the Gainsight Data Objects

2. Go to Rule Engine. Make a new rule called CompanyPerson Role to Person Role

3. Configure Rule Setup

4. Configure Rule Actions

And that’s it!

Run the rule to copy over your Customers’s role to this new field that was installed with Gainsight and you’ll be able to use the new Human First Factors scorecard!
